The Problem We Solve
When the founder steps back, the manager quits, or life interrupts the business, who picks up where they left off? We help you identify where you're vulnerable and build the leadership depth to survive it.
One person carries all the knowledge. We map it and redistribute it before it becomes a crisis.
Growing up in the restaurant isn't enough. We develop the skills that actually transfer leadership.
Great people leave bad cultures. We help you build the kind of environment they stay for.
"Through his approach we have established an environment that encourages team members to overcome obstacles that were once barriers to our growth."
Tim — Mentee

Founder & Strategic Advisor
Tyler spent more than 20 years inside one of the largest restaurant chains in the country. As a multi-unit Director at Brinker International, he oversaw teams of 10 or more managers responsible for 300 to 400 people at a time, building the kind of leadership experience that only comes from operating at scale.
His years at Brinker shaped how he thinks about leadership and scale. They also gave him a deep appreciation for something the big chains can't replicate: the soul of a family-owned restaurant. The connection to community. The owner who's been behind the same counter for 20 years. The recipes that don't change because they don't need to. That's what drew Tyler toward independent restaurants, and it's where he's chosen to focus his work.
For the past 11 years Tyler has served as a Food Service Director at Central Market/HEB, one of Texas's most respected food brands. That chapter has made him a sharper leader, a better developer of people, and a more effective coach.
He has developed more than 400 team members across his career. More importantly, he knows what it takes to build something that outlasts any one person, including the owner.

New Restaurant Program
They fail because no one ever showed them how to build the business behind the food. That's exactly where CTX Connect comes in.
Why Restaurants Struggle
Opening without hiring frameworks, financial controls, or operational SOPs means every decision is made from scratch, under pressure.
Without a leadership structure in place from day one, great people leave and hard problems fall entirely on the owner.
Most consultants hand you a binder and walk away. You deserve a partner who stays in it with you through the hardest months.
The Program
We've built a comprehensive startup program developed from decades of experience operating at the highest levels of the restaurant industry. It covers everything from pre-opening logistics and HR to menu engineering, financial modeling, staff training, and your first marketing push.
But more importantly, we work alongside you. We learn your concept, your team, and your vision, and we help you mold the program into something that actually fits your restaurant.
What Makes This Different
"This isn't a course. It isn't a template pack. It's a working relationship built around one goal: opening strong and staying that way."
Think of it as having a seasoned operator in your corner from day one. Someone who has been through every scenario and knows what it takes to build something that lasts.
